A young Jeremy Corbyn fan who got the Labour leader’s face tattooed on his back has reportedly hit out at The Sun for using his picture.
A friend posted a picture of 18-year-old Kierran Horsfield’s new body art to Twitter, and the image soon received hundreds of shares.
Mr Horsfield has spoken to Buzzfeed News about how he’s been a fan of Mr Corbyn since “he was an obscure rebellious backbencher” and said the reaction among his friends had been “largely positive”.
But when approached by The Sun’s politics reporter Josh Pettitt for comment on his friend’s post to Twitter, Mr Horsfield reportedly responded:
“Dear Mr Pettitt.
Unfortunately I won’t be providing The Sun with a comment or for that matter my permission to publish a story about my tattoo as I use The Sun newspapers as toilet paper and I’m uncomfortable with the idea of wiping my derriere on a paper with my own picture on it.
I hope you understand my worry and will accept my apologies.

Mr Horsfield told Buzzfeed he had the tattoo done in 90 minutes at a parlour in Australia, where he’s living at the moment, and where the reaction to it has been “largely confusion”.
He isn’t the first person to make such a permanent statement of loyalty to a public figure he admires.
At the annual UKIP conference in September, Nigel Farage met super-fan Kerrie Webb, and even signed her inking of the Eurosceptic politician on her arm.
Mr Corbyn’s team told The Independent earlier that they were made aware of the tattoo on Monday night. It’s still not clear if the leader himself has seen it.
