Jeremy Corbyn rocks out in Sunderland with impromptu dance

Jeremy Corbyn has been spotted using some slightly more unorthodox methods to pump up a rally this week.

The embattled Labour leader has taken a very serious approach to politics thus far, standing firmly on the other end of spectrum to the (arguably too) press-op friendly Boris Johnson.

More light-hearted interviews were once rejected and requests to tell a joke met with a deadpan “no”.

But there has been a marked change in his character since becoming the leader of the Labour party. We’ve been treated to dad jokes, an interview with Joey Essex, an appearance on The Last Leg (including a skit) and now an impromptu dance.

Mr Corbyn was spotted rocking out in Sunderland in a successful attempt to rouse attendees supporting his second leadership campaign.

There was some serious business on the agenda of course. He used his rally to announce the creation of a ‘Bank of the North’ investment bank with the potential, he claims, to unlock 100,000 extra jobs.
