Jeremy Corbyn and Judy Finnigan join forces to slam Boris Johnson on This Morning

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Judy Finnigan joined forces to slam Boris Johnson on This Morning today.

Mr Corbyn was speaking about the potential forthcoming General Election and Brexit and he also had something to say about the Prime Minister's actions in recent days.

Mr Corbyn described Boris Johnson as a "very strange Prime Minister" and Judy chimed in with "You can say that again."

And fans loved it, taking to twitter in their droves to comment on the jibe.

Midge bites said: "Jeremy Corbyn on #ThisMorning . Says of Boris "This is a very strange Prime Minister". Judy Finnigan says "You can say that again". Class"

The English Lexit said: "Judy sounds like she’s a Corbynista. Richard clearly hates him. Haha."

Lewis Pringle said: "Ooh Judy not a fan of Boris haha."

And Trevor Phillips said: "Judy knows."

Mr Corbyn insisted he wasn't frightened of a potential General Election and said: "No not at all, I'm very happy to be out campaigning.

"We were written off by everyone in 2017 and look what happened."

But he said that December 12 was a strange date to pick, with Judy saying you'd expect turn-out to be low.

He said: "12 December date is very odd, it's near to Christmas and students have already left university so it's a strange date to pick."

*This Morning continues at 10:30am on ITV on Monday
