Jeremy Clarkson teases The Grand Tour Scotland fans with date TV special will air

Grand Tour hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond recently finished up filming in Scotland, and fans have been waiting patiently to find out when they'll be able to see the results.

Presenter Jeremy has hinted that the Scotland special will hit our screens this summer.

The 60-year-old teased fans that the latest edition of the Amazon Prime Video series may hit screens in June.

Speaking on the Andy Jaye podcast, Jeremy said:“We couldn't go abroad obviously, I think everyone will understand why, so we did Scotland.”

When nudged on when the show will be aired, he added: "So when is Scotland happening? Ready steady, June.

"It won't be, it won’t be but it could be shown in June I think.”

The latest series of the hit show, which was filmed in Scotland during the Coronavirus outbreak, sees the trio travelling from Edinburgh to the Outer Hebrides.

The three GT hosts were spotted filming in the Highlands in October, travelling in classic American cars.

James was pictured driving a Cadillac, while Richard had a Buick, and Jeremy was seen behind the wheel of a Lincoln.

The cast and crew apparently even had their own Covid-19 testing centre van for added safety on set.

Beginning their journey in the capital, they stopped off at places such as the picturesque Glentruim and Perthshire, before being pictured boarding their cars onto a calmac ferry on their way to North Uist where the adventure finished up.

They even caused a bit of a stooshie in the Outer Hebrides after it was rumoured they had had an 'after party' at their Benbecula accommodation, something that was against Covid restrictions at the time.

Series four of the hit show was put on hold last year after just one episode, for now, fans can enjoy The Grand Tour Presents: A Massive Hunt, which is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video now.
