Jeremy Clarkson says 'nuisance' visitors at his farm shop urinate on his driveway

Jeremy Clarkson is usually the one pee-ing people off, but now the tables have turned.

The former Top Gear host, 61, is fed up of visitors who trek to his Cotswolds farm shop urinating on his driveway.

On Thursday, Jeremy called a meeting in the Memorial Hall in Chadlington, Oxfordshire to address some of the issues that have arisen from his 100 acre farm.

Amazon series Clarkson's Farm has been a surprise hit, and Diddly Squat Farm - named as it has never turned a profit - has become a tourist destination, bringing traffic and speeding drivers to the tiny rural village.

He said that he hopes the "enormous crowds" would soon dwindle, and he admitted that they have been "a bloody nuisance and you have my absolute sympathy."

Jeremy added: "They like to come in and wee on my drive. I am just as keen as all of you to try and manage the situation."

The Mail Online reports that Jeremy is planning to convert the disused lambing shed on his 1,000-acre farm and turn it in to a restaurant serving meals for £30-a-head.

The meat served will be from Jeremy's own stock, bypassing "lesser quality" meat expected to arrive in the UK as partof post-Brexit trade deals with Canada and Australia.

One local, Maggie Jackman, spilled the tea about the key topics discussed in the meeting, which Jeremy catered with cheese and wine.

She said: "When the shop originally opened I thought it would be a lot smarter than it was. It was just a shed and a bit of a mess.

"I have only once been in there when I needed eggs and they were £2.95 for half a dozen. I was somewhat taken aback and the young woman in the shop said, 'they’re Jeremy’s eggs. I thought what a funny name for a chicken.

"After the show launched I have never seen anything like it. It has turned into a theme park and on any day of the week you will have people milling around in their cars."

Ms. Jackman added that Jeremy said visitors "do ‘donuts’ in the car park at nights and he said they go up his drive to look at his house and pee in his hedgerows."

In the meeting, furious locals slammed Jeremy for treating farming like a "sideline".

One allegedly said: "The things is Mr Clarkson, you are not a farmer. You are a media personality and farming to you is a sideline. But this is our village and we have to live with the consequences."

Last month Jeremy was left fuming after someone complained about noisy tractors at night.

He took a dislike to a post, which was originally shared on the Spotted Earl Shilton Facebook page and complained about loud tractors working at 11pm.

It read: "Why at almost 11pm at night are we still getting tractors run down the road on Belle Vue. FFS do it during the bl**dy day."

Clarkson's Farm has been confirmed to be returning for a second series after fans were left fuming when they realised the show wasn't getting another string of episodes.

In a statement, Jeremy said: "I’m absolutely delighted that, once again you’ll be able to spend some time with Cheerful Charlie, Gerald, Lisa and of course, Kaleb. We are such a happy team."

Dan Grabiner, Head of UK Originals, Amazon Studios, added: "Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming. It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences."
