Jeremy Clarkson’s Clarkson’s Farm is welcoming a fresh face for its fourth season - 24-year-old nurse and part-time farmer Harriet Cowan.
Fans spotted the newcomer in the trailer released this week, where she quickly made an impression with her hands-on approach to life at Diddly Squat Farm.
Harriet, introduced on the show as ‘Charlie,’ steps in during the temporary absence of Kaleb Cooper, Clarkson’s right-hand man, who is away on a nationwide tour.
Teasing her exciting news on Instagram, she penned alongside the show’s new trailer: “Ekkkk something exciting is coming on the 23rd of may”.
She was quickly flooded with supportive messages from followers, many sharing the same excitement in the comments under the announcement.
Despite admitting she hadn’t seen Clarkson’s Farm before joining, fans watched as Harriet wasted no time getting stuck into the work; erecting fences, feeding animals and even welding, all with a smile, in the trailer.

“She’s brilliant!” Clarkson declared in one clip, clearly impressed by her enthusiasm and work ethic.
Kaleb later returns to the farm and is seen getting along well with her.
Harriet’s farming background helps explain her confidence.
Raised on a farm in Derbyshire, she spent her childhood helping her father Eddy tend to livestock and land.
In addition to her day job as a nurse, she balances her passion for agriculture and has built a growing online presence, with over 35,000 followers on TikTok and a playful Instagram bio inviting fans to “Come and watch the craziness…”

She’s also landed a brand deal with cow-print sock brand Country Moos and often shares glimpses of her farm life with boyfriend and fellow farmer, James.
Harriet first caught public attention during the pandemic in 2020 when she and fellow members of the Belper Young Farmers Club went viral with a creative twist on the toilet roll challenge - passing a loaf of bread between them while working on their farms to raise spirits among NHS staff.
“I thought we should do something to get everybody together as our club isn’t meeting because of coronavirus,” she told Derbyshire Live at the time. “We wanted to do something different — everyone else was doing the same thing with toilet rolls.”

The new eight-part season of Clarkson’s Farm sees Jeremy and his team tackle one of their most difficult farming years yet, with unpredictable weather and rising costs.
The show returns to Prime Video on May 23, with episodes released in batches across the following two weeks.
