Jeremy Clarkson's furious rant after noise complaint about tractor posted online

Jeremy Clarkson has been left fuming after someone complained about noisy tractors at night.

The former Top Gear host - who now runs his own farm in Oxfordshire - took a dislike to a post, which was originally shared on the Spotted Earl Shilton Facebook page and complained about loud tractors working at 11pm.

It read: "Why at almost 11pm at night are we still getting tractors run down the road on Belle Vue. FFS do it during the bl**dy day."

Jeremy was less than impressed when it was shared with him by a local resident.

"Yeah. Not sure the deluded fool knows much," he replied, clearly irritated by the comments.

Jeremy was left gutted recently after he lost 10 acres of crops on his farm when he stopped using specific insecticides.

Speaking to Times Radio 's Giles Coren about having to change his insecticides, he said: "If you spray neonicotinoids on oilseed rape, which you have to do to stop flea beetles eating it, that hurts the bees.

"So everybody would say you mustn’t do that. We must not hurt the bees, it’s obvious.

"However, if you don’t use neonicotinoids your oilseed rape basically dies. I lost about ten acres of it last year."

He continued to talk about palm oil, which he said ends up having a negative effect on "orangutans in Sumatra".

"So then people say you must not hurt the orangutans, so then you can’t have any form of oil," he added.

"So it’s always a balance, it’s always a struggle, everything you ever do. There is nothing organic on my farm - nothing."

Jeremy's Amazon Prime show Clarkson's Farm has been confirmed to be returning for a second series after fans were left fuming when they realised the show wasn't getting another string of episodes.

In a statement, Jeremy said: "I’m absolutely delighted that, once again you’ll be able to spend some time with Cheerful Charlie, Gerald, Lisa and of course, Kaleb. We are such a happy team."

Dan Grabiner, Head of UK Originals, Amazon Studios, added: "Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming. It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences.

Jeremy's Amazon show will be back for a new series (Amazon Prime Video)

"We are delighted to be joining the team for another year-in-the-life of Diddly Squat, and wish Kaleb and farmers across the country luck as Mother Nature continues to take revenge on Jeremy."
