Jeremy Clarkson puts on his latest public display of affection, kissing his girlfriend in the street after a slap-up meal.
Over the years the TV star has been pictured in clinches with a variety of women – which was particularly tricky when he was married and the lady in question was not his wife.
Now divorced, this week he grasped at a signpost as he smooched current partner Lisa Hogan following an event to launch his new Amazon series in central London.
The 60-year-old former BBC star, sacked for punching a Top Gear producer in 2015, enjoyed his pavement snog with blonde Lisa, 50, following an Indian meal in London's Mayfair.
The couple, who wore matching outfits of jeans with blue jackets, had dined with Clarkson's long-term pal, executive producer Andy Wilman.
Clarkson was promoting his new series about the Cotswolds farm he bought in 2008. Asked how interested he was in the running of said farm, he replied: “Not even slightly.”
And complaining that it had been “much tougher” than he'd anticipated, he blamed the excess rain on climate change caused by car programmes, quipping: “Top Gear ruined it for everyone.”
Clarkson, whose fracas with Irish producer Oisin Tymon came after he'd failed to provide the presenter with a steak dinner, said he'd enjoyed eating the sheep he'd reared. “So you get to know them, you see them every night to feed them - and then you eat them. Which I did and they gave me heartburn. So they had the last laugh.”
In the show Lisa, from Dublin, works in the farm shop. Clarkson said they'd had fun making the series. “Lisa and I drank ourselves silly.”
Clarkson's previous street clinches included two with former BBC executive Elaine Bedell, a factual boss who was in charge of Top Gear at the time.
They were pictured kissing in a car in 2000 and then again in central London after a boozy BBC2 bash three years later.
Clarkson and his wife of 21 years, Frances, divorced in 2014. They have three children together. His former mistress Phillipa Sage last week told of the mental anguish she went through after breaking up with Clarkson in 2017.
She said: “We were all burned out and the stress of it all caused my worst breakdown ever.
Truly the lowest point in my life. But it was to prove the glorious turning point,” she said. “Jeremy was the love of my life and I thought it would be forever .”
