Jeremy Clarkson and his team at Diddly Squat farm have named a particularly unruly male boar “Harvey Swinestein” in reference to the disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein in the upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm.
In season four of the popular farming show, which premieres on May 23, Clarkson's farm crew faces new challenges at the Chipping Norton farm.
One of the more colourful moments involves the local vet raising concerns about a boar, rented for breeding purposes, who has been showing aggressive behaviour towards the three female pigs, or sows.
In the third episode of the new season, the vet explains to Clarkson that the boar has been so physically aggressive that the sows “couldn’t lift their back ends” following mating.
He adds that the boar isn't “100 percent safe to be around” and has been blocking the entrance to the pen, preventing the sows from leaving or entering.
“I’ve seen him actually chomping at the metal [casing on the pen]. I wouldn’t trust him with us in the pen,” the vet warns. “If he decided he didn’t like us, he could take a chunk out of us.”

Clarkson's partner, Lisa Hogan, enters the scene, prompting Clarkson to joke about the boar's violent tendencies: “[The boar is] so violent at sex, he’s broken the house. And I was just in there and he was pawing the ground. He’s like a bull. He’s not a very nice pig.”
Hogan, not missing a beat, suggests: “I think we get rid of Harvey Swinestein tomorrow, he’s gotta go”, which amuses Jeremy, who continues to use the name throughout the episode.
The following day, Clarkson enlists his farm manager, Kaleb Cooper, and new team member, Harriet Cowan, to remove “Harvey Swinestein” from the pen and return him to his owner.
When the pair doesn’t immediately understand the pun, wondering if it refers to a famous actor or scientist, Clarkson simply replies: “He’s a shocking human being.”

The team then struggles to move the large boar, with Cooper injuring his rib when the boar unexpectedly jumps. In a voiceover, Clarkson comments: “Nobody was upset to see Harvey leave.”
Weinstein, who co-founded Miramax, was sentenced in 2020 to 23 years in prison after being convicted of rape and sexual assault charges.
He has denied the allegations and is appealing his conviction.
