You can always trust one thing in life – Jeremy Clarkson to put his foot in it. According to the Daily Star, this is his latest from the Twitter machine: "Can I just say that I've worked at the BBC for 24 years and in all that time no one has ever tried to put his finger in my bottom." Perhaps BBC chairman Lord Patten could find time to launch a "free-standing" inquiry into the verbal free-wheeling of Clarkson.
