Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that filming for Clarkson’s Farm has been paused, sharing what he jokingly described as an “alarming” update from his Diddly Squat estate in Oxfordshire.
The Top Gear star, 65, confirmed the break in production while offering fans a typically irreverent insight into life on the farm.
Posting to X on Sunday, Clarkson wrote: “Filming at Diddly Squat has stopped for a little while, but the farming goes on.
“Today, I have rented out a pig for sexual purposes.”
Production recently wrapped on season five of Clarkson’s Farm, with Amazon Prime Video expected to release the new episodes in 2026.

It comes amid confirmation that the series will take a break after the upcoming run, though farming activity at Diddly Squat continues year-round.
Clarkson purchased the 1,000-acre property in Chadlington — formerly known as Curdle Hill Farm — back in 2008.
Since launching Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video in 2021, the series has become one of the platform’s biggest non-scripted hits, praised for its mix of comedy, chaos and authentic insight into the challenges of modern British farming.
The show also turned the once-quiet village into a tourist destination, with fans regularly queueing outside the Diddly Squat Farm Shop and his nearby pub, The Farmer’s Dog, every weekend.
The upcoming fifth season will once again follow Clarkson, his partner Lisa Hogan, and farmhand Kaleb Cooper as they navigate unpredictable weather, livestock dramas and local council red tape.
Elsewhere, Clarkson took a swipe at James Corden’s show Gavin and Stacey while promoting his new book last week.

The former Top Gear host released the fifth installment in his Clarkson’s Farm book series, Diddly Squat: The Farmer's Dog, which is about his Cotswolds pub, on Wednesday.
He promoted the launch by sharing a video of himself reading a snippet from it in the book section of a shop on Instagram.
Addressing the camera, the former Grand Tour star said: "Look at this, it's my new book, The Farmer's Dog.

"It's about a year on the farm and what it was like to open a pub, and I thought I'd read you an excerpt from it, give you a flavour.”
He then turned to a page in the book and read: "We can't find a reindeer, so I'm having to use a normal deer with antlers taped to its head.”
Clarkson looked back up to the camera and remarked: “Exciting stuff, The Farmer's Dog."
He then pointed at the Gavin and Stacey book, When Gavin Met Stacey and Everything in Between, which was displayed next to his book on the shelf, and said: "Better than that."
