Jeremy Clarkson abandons Diddly Squat Farm restaurant opening in fits of rage

Jeremy Clarkson drove off in a rage after abandoning his restaurant opening at Diddly Squat Farm.

In the new season of Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime Video, the 62-year-old broadcaster was beginning to feel the pinch following Brexit and opted to open a restaurant on his farm site.

After battling it out with the local council overturning his old lambing barn into a restaurant where he could serve beef-based dishes from his own herd of cows, Jeremy eventually settled with refurbishing an abandoned barn on his land into the venue.

As the barn was over 10 years old and within the council’s size limitations, he did not need to obtain planning permission.

After just two days and plenty of bumps in the road, the team finally reached the new restaurant’s opening day.

However, Jeremy and his co-stars were soon met with various electrical faults in the kitchen, which proved to hinder the preparation of the paying guests’ dishes.

The visitors eventually became impatient, which caused Jeremy to become increasingly flustered, whilst cars continued to pull up to the venue in a bid to be served.

This caused the former Top Gear host to begin a rant of foul language and yelling before he chose to remove himself from the situation.

His co-stars were confused, to say the least, after he left them moments before the restaurant opened (Amazon Prime)

When he asked whether he could get rid of a mop and bucket from the premises, someone responded: "I think we need to mop the floor first."

Jeremy then snapped back: "We can't, the guests are here. F*** it, it's a farm."

He was then heard shouting at someone else: "Here's a tip if you have got a job to do, get out of the car and f****** run because we need to move this car."

Reflecting on the shocking moment in his voiceover, he said: "At this point, I realised that my inner Gordon Ramsey was doing more harm than good.

"So I made a decision." He was then seen telling Charlie Ireland: "I'm going to move myself now."

He then got in his car and drove away from the restaurant, leaving Charlie feeling very confused.

Eventually, Jeremy returned to the restaurant and welcomed some of his guests.

Once he could see the food was able to be prepared again and the guests were happy, he began to calm down.

Thankfully, the guests provided the team with kind words about the new restaurant and loved the food.
