Jeremie Frimpong names the Celtic player he'd most like to be quarantined with as he details Scott Brown inspiration

Celtic wonderkid Jeremie Frimpong has named Ryan Christie as the team-mate he'd most like to be quarantined with during the coronavirus lockdown.

Scottish football has been shut down since March 13 due to the COVID-19 pandemic that's sweeping Europe.

Players and fans alike have been told to stay indoors, but Frimpong still found a way to get in touch with supporters.

The former Manchester City youth answered questions on the club's Instagram page and was asked the player he'd most like to spend quarantine with.

Frimpong replied: " Ryan Christie - I wouldn't stop laughing!"

The 19-year-old also named James Forrest as the best player he's played with and explained how captain Scott Brown and midfielder Callum McGregor "motivate me even more".

The Dutch Under-20 international was also asked to name his favourite game he's played in.

Frimpong answered: "Hibs in the (Betfred Cup) semi-final.

"My whole family came up to watch, it was first game at Hampden and we got the win. Unforgettable!"
