Former Celtic star Jeremie Frimpong is playing a crucial role for Bayer Leverkusen these days.
But his club will hope he can be fit for next month's Parkhead reunion after the Bundesliga club disclosed some fitness issues.
Right-back Frimpong netted the Hoops a cool £11.5m when he moved to Germany in January but the vacancy then turned into something of a problem position.
Ange Postecoglou seems to have come up with the answer after Anthony Ralston's inspired early season form while new Croatian arrival Josip Juranovic is in line for a Celtic debut, potentially as soon as Sunday's derby against Rangers.
But still, the infectious running and energy of Frimpong, 20, is hard to replace and given the huge fee he bagged the club and his positive attitude, he's sure to be well remembered if he makes the trip back to Glasgow in Europa League group G on September 30.
However Leverkusen boss Gerardo Seoane revealed he's suffering from 'fatigue' after a strong start to the season.
He's played all 270 minutes of Bundesliga action so far for the Rhineland club this season, coinciding with a move back to his natural position, and also started in their DFB-Pokal win against Locomotive Leipzig.
He also set up Moussa Diaby to register an assist on opening day in the 1-1 draw against Union Berlin.
But after helping to put Augsburg away 4-1 on Saturday, Seoane said: "Jeremie Frimpong will undergo some further examination.
"The first diagnosis doesn't look like an injury, but rather fatigue in the adductor area."
It doesn't sound too serious and Bayer will hope he can make it on matchday two as he rises to prominence this term, having already equalled his total league starts for Bayer as last season.
