Jeremie Frimpong joins Scott Brown Celtic acclaim as he pays glowing 'won it all' tribute

Jeremie Frimpong has joined the host of Celtic stars past and present paying tribute to captain Scott Brown.

The veteran midfielder confirmed this week that he'll leave Parkhead at the end of the season after 14 trophy-laden years.

The former Scotland international has agreed to take up a player-coach role at Aberdeen and will leave at the end of his contract.

Brown has won 22 trophies in his Celtic career and is one of the most iconic figures of the club's recent history.

And former Parkhead right-back Frimpong paid tribute to the 35-year-old on social media.

The Bayer Leverkusen youngster shared a photo with Brown and wrote: "Seen it all, done it all & won it all. #legend #thankyouBroony".

Tributes have poured in from current and former team-mates, with Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney hailing the legendary captain.

He wrote: “Congratulations on everything you achieved mate. Was an honour to play alongside you for so long.

"My hero. Captain, leader, legend.”

Brown has signed a two-year contract at Aberdeen and will join up with Stephen Glass and his squad for next season.
