Jeremiah Attaochu signs with Chiefs after 1 season with Jets

The Chiefs have signed Jeremiah Attochu after the linebacker spent one season with the Jets.

His agency, Sports Trust Advisors, announced the deal on Twitter.

Attaochu, also formerly of the 49ers and Chargers, spent the 2018 season in New York. He wasn’t much of a factor for New York, appearing in 11 games but starting none. The 26-year-old tallied nine total tackles, though he did manage to record two sacks in his limited time.

A five-year veteran, Attaochu was selected in the second round of the 2014 draft by the Chargers. For his career, he has 49 games played, 13 starts, 12 sacks and 84 total tackles.
