JENSON BUTTON
The end of the former world champion’s five-year stay appears imminent at McLaren. With a future outside the sport preferred, today may prove Button’s curtain call in Formula One.
SEBASTIAN VETTEL
Vettel’s £15m switch to Ferrari is on and the four-times world champion will hope for a fitting performance to cap his decade-long association with Red Bull.
FERNANDO ALONSO
This will be the double world champion’s last race in a Ferrari. Expect the Spaniard to turn up next season in a McLaren, possibly with Kevin Magnussen in the No2 car.
WILL STEVENS
The 23-year-old Formula Renault racer from Essex, right, is set to make his F1 debut today for troubled Caterham. He secured his drive only on Thursday afternoon after his compulsory F1 superlicence was approved by the FIA. After Lewis Hamilton, Button and Max Chilton, Stevens will be the fourth British driver to start a grand prix this season.
