Jenny was appearing on the programme to show viewers how to make her 'Paddington pudding' or her own version of bread and butter pudding.

Wearing a black patterned blouse and thick-rimmed glasses, the quizzer kept cool in the kitchen as she chatted to host Steph McGovern and Denise Van Outen.

She said she calls it 'Paddington Pudding' because she liked him as a child and also because the dish contains marmalade.

The Chaser said: "Paddington teaches niceness, politeness and curiosity.

"I try and emanate him in adult life and I do eat a lot of marmalade."

Jenny added that it was based on bread and butter pudding but she had "poshed it up and added the Paddington element" and contains a Peruvian liquor for an added extra punch.

Speaking to host Steph, Jenny said how she is performing in a panto this year in the Wizard Of Oz Spectacular playing Glinda.

The TV personality also said how they are filming The Chase once again and that she hopes another series of Beat the Chasers will happen again.

When asked whether all The Chasers are competitive, Jenny said: "Yeah we are quite competitive among each other, Mark keeps a big log of stats."

Steph and Denise complimented Jenny on her pudding saying it was "delicious" and a "comfort pudding."
