Jenny Ryan responded to viewers who claimed Paul Sinha gave her a "dirty look" on Beat the Chasers last night.
On the first episode of ITV spin-off quiz show, Paul teamed up with Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan and Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ to face contestant Alex, a paramedic student.
When asked a popular culture question, Jenny buzzed in to answer but got it wrong.
Viewers thought they'd spotted Paul giving Jenny a sideways "dirty look".
Speaking after the show, Paul said: "I did not give @jenlion a dirty look. I didn't know the answer. And Jenny takes a lot of hits by buzzing in with pop culture guesses when the rest of us are clueless.
"My annoyance was with me for not knowing the answer."
And Jenny confirmed this during an appearance with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning.
Saying how Twitter was in uproar over the 'dirty look', Jenny said: "I got a question wrong, but it's more about who is going to sacrifice and guess on a question and sometimes we get in each other's way.
"Sometimes there is a postmortem when it happens."
The Dark Destroyer followed this up, saying: "There are no egos between us, if we lose a question, we lose together."
