Jenny McCarthy shows off her Donnie tattoos, announces name change

March 17--Jenny McCarthy is officially Jenny Wahlberg, she announced in Thursday's episode of "The Wendy Williams Show."

"In my first marriage, I was so like, miss independent. I was like, I worked for this name, I'm not changing it," McCarthy told Williams. "And then, you know, as time went on, I was tired of being, like, the man and the woman. I was a single mom for so long and I fell in love with him."

McCarthy, who was married to John Asher from 1999-2005, said an episode of "Donnie Loves Jenny" shows her getting an Illinois driver's license with the name Jenny Wahlberg. She has still been using the McCarthy name professionally.

The third season of "Donnie Loves Jenny" premiered Wednesday. The A series features the couple, who wed in August 2014, settling into their new home in St. Charles.

On "The Wendy Williams Show," McCarthy showed off her wrist and finger tattoos honoring her husband. Wahlberg discussed his penchant for crying while watching "The Bachelor," and Williams ran through different scenarios to test the Wahlbergs if they would have sex under those circumstances.

"We do not allow makeup sex in the house," Wahlberg said.

"Makeup sex is very addictive. It's like a high so we said, 'Let's not do that ever,' and it's been so wonderful," McCarthy said.

Williams' show airs 10 a.m. weekdays on Fox.

"Donnie Loves Jenny" airs 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
