Jennifer Metcalfe accused of 'breaking girl code' by dating pal's ex Chris Eagles

Jennifer Metcalfe has reportedly been accused of "breaking girl code" by dating her friend's former fiance Chris Eagles.

The Hollyoaks star, 37, was first linked to the footballer, 35, late last year and they have since been pictured out in public together.

Now reports suggest Chris' former fiancee and mother of his two children, Danielle Mitchinson, has claimed Jen showed her "no respect" by dating her ex.

The Sun on Sunday reports Danielle has claimed Jen has convinced her to split from Chris after the relationship hit the rocks.

"She has massively broken the girl code and she doesn’t even have any remorse about it."

Danielle and Chris, who has played for Chris has played for Manchester United, Bolton, Burnley, and Oldham Athletic, were together for eight years after meeting back in 2011.

They got engaged after the birth of their first daughter, now four, and planned to wed in 2017 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire.

They had to postpone their big day after Danielle got pregnant with their second daughter, now three.

Danielle and Jen after believed to have become friends last year while the actress was still dating Greg Lake, the father of her son Daye, three.

Jen and Greg split last summer and vowed to remain friends for the sake of their little boy.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "Greg and I decided to part ways amicably a couple months ago. We remain friends and we both will continue to happily co parent Daye and would appreciate privacy during these times.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported us before, during and after this."
