One major perk of awards season? Getting a diamond house to loan you some gobstopper jewels, as J-Lo proved with her showstopping rocks at the 2020 SAG Awards.
Lopez wore $9 million worth of diamonds by Harry Winston at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
These included a secret cluster diamond bracelet, a cushion-cut diamond ring and lotus cluster diamond ring, diamond drop earrings and - the biggest statement - a cascading diamond necklace.
According to E! News, they were some pretty hefty platinum pieces with the necklace weighing in at a total of 73.55 carats and her pear-shaped diamond bracelet weighing 59.27 carats in total.
To set off the diamonds, Lopez wore a black off-the-shoulder black gown, which featured a striking bow detail and train, and her hair swept up in a bun.
She was joined by her fiance Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez on the carpet, who himself bought her a pretty impressive engagement ring with a diamond estimated to be 20 carats
When news of her SAG Awards nomination came through, Lopez revealed she could not believe it. "I don't think I've ever been nominated for a SAG Award before," Lopez said on social media, "I am so excited and so humbled to be recognised by my fellow actors out there. You know, acting was my first love, along with dancing and I just, I just can't believe all this is happening."
Lopez received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for playing stripper matriarch Ramona in Hustlers at the awards, but was pipped to the post by Laura Dern for her role in Marriage Story. Despite the Oscar buzz that surrounded Lopez for her role, she was sadly snubbed by the Academy Awards - though she did earn a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
