Jennifer Lopez seems to shade A-Rod by liking post about exes pretending to care

Jennifer Lopez appeared to make a thinly-veiled dig at her ex Alex Rodriguez following the end of their relationship.

The high-profile couple called off their engagement after having to delay walking down the aisle twice amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Now the sassy singer, 51, seemed to be taking aim at her former fiancé A-Rod, 45, when she liked a cryptic post about men pretending to care.

The singing super star pressed the like button on the mysterious Instagram post about exes.

She liked the Instagram quote, which was posted on r.h.Sin's account and read: "Don’t make her think you care when you have never given a f**k about her."

The Mirror has reached out to Jennifer Lopez's representatives for further comment.

Her like come just as J-Lo and A-Rod sent shockwaves through the showbiz circuit with news of their split.

They reassured the world they were "better as friends" and intending on "remaining so" as their romantic relationship crumbled away.

The full statement read: "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.

"We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.

"Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."

J-Lo and A-Rod first fell for each other when they begun dating in 2017.

They got engaged in March 2019 but they never made it down the aisle.

Speaking about the delays to their marriage recently, Jennifer admitted it was a "big deal".

She told Allure magazine : "It was a big deal.

“We had been planning for months and months and months, and it was overseas.”

However, she said she realised fate had dealt its hand of cards.

“Maybe that wasn’t the right time,” she added.

“You start thinking of all of these things — how everything has its kind of perfect, divine moment.”
