Jennifer Lopez says she ‘rehearsed like crazy’ for Kiss of the Spider Woman

  • Lopez, 56, is now set to star in Bill Condon's remake of Kiss of the Spider Woman, fulfilling a long-held ambition to appear in a musical.
  • The film, set during Argentina's 1981 Dirty War, features Lopez as Ingrid Luna alongside Luis Molina (Tonatiuh) and Valentin Aregui (Diego Luna).
  • Filming Kiss of the Spider Woman presented challenges, including director Bill Condon's decision to shoot elaborate musical performances in single takes.
  • Despite budget and time constraints, Lopez stated the cast and crew dedicated significant effort to the production, which is due for release on October 10, 2025.
