Jennifer Lopez Renames Tour To 'This Is Me... Live'

After canceling seven dates of her first North American tour in five years due to weak ticket sales, Jennifer Lopez has decided to rebrand the tour to attract a broader audience. Originally named 'This Is Me… Now,' the tour has been renamed 'This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits.' The initial announcement of the tour coincided with the release of Lopez's latest album 'This Is Me… Now' and two accompanying films.

However, last month, Lopez quietly canceled several tour dates in cities like Cleveland and Nashville, likely in response to poor ticket sales. The new tour name suggests a shift from focusing solely on the new album's songs to encompassing her entire discography. This strategic move aims to appeal to a wider range of fans who may not have connected with her latest material.

Despite attempts to reach out to Lopez's representatives and Live Nation, the producers of the tour, no comments have been provided regarding the rebranding. While Live Nation's website has not been updated to reflect the name change, there are conflicting titles for the tour on Lopez's listings, including 'This Is Me… Live' and 'This Is Me… Now The Tour.'

Although some venues have not updated their listings to reflect the new tour name, confirmations of the rebrand have been noted for shows at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs and The Forum in Inglewood. Additionally, a sponsored Facebook ad from Lopez showcases a graphic featuring the new title.

Upon its release in February, 'This Is Me… Now' faced challenges in finding an audience, selling 14,000 copies in its first week. While the album debuted at the top of the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart with 11,000 physical sales, it entered the Billboard 200 at No. 38, marking the second time one of Lopez's studio albums debuted outside the top 10.

The album was part of a larger self-financed multimedia project costing $20 million, which included the tour and two films: 'This Is Me…Now: A Love Story' and a documentary titled 'The Greatest Love Story Never Told.' The project was described by Variety as an exploration of Lopez's life as a serial romantic, following her rekindled romance with actor Ben Affleck, whom she married in 2022 after nearly two decades apart.
