Jennifer Lopez dons eye-catching bow gown at Golden Globes as fiancé shares gushing tribute

Jennifer Lopez commanded attention at the Golden Globes tonight in an eye-catching gown with a huge bow on the front.

The Love Don't Cost a Thing singer, 50, was joined on the red carpet of the glitzy event by her hunky fiancé Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, who later posted a gushing tribute to her.

Her dress had a giant green and gold bow on the front that threatened to swamp the slim star as she posed for pictures.

The bottom of the dress featured a more modest white ruffled style, which dragged behind her as she walked into the ceremony.

Jennifer's hair was styled in a chic plaited bun and she sported a coat of dark eyeshadow.

She accessorised with a chunky green necklace and a plain green clutch bag.

The scooped back design of the dress allowed her to show off her toned figure as she posed for pictures.

A-Rod looked dapper in a black tuxedo and a matching bow tie as she wrapped a protective arm around his wife to be.

After the event he took to Instagram to post a tribute to Jennifer, calling her an "inspiration".

Alongside a picture of J-Lo on the red carpet tonight, he wrote: "Jen, it doesn't take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion.

"To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion.

"To your children, your family, your coaches, your staff, and your extended family, you are a champion.

"To everyone whose lives you enrich daily, you are a champion. And don't you ever forget it."
