Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have sent fans into a frenzy after they were caught on a secret getaway.
The former couple dated from 2002 until January 2004 and were briefly engaged before splitting up days before they planned to marry.
He married Jennifer Garner in 2005 and they had three children before breaking up in 2015 and divorcing in 2018.
J-Lo, 51, recently split with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez and Ben, 48, ended his romance with Ana de Armas at the beginning of the year.
And now the duo are both single, it seems they've been brought back together again.
Secret meet-ups
Last week, Bennifer, as they became known during their relationship, were pictured enjoying what looked like a romantic break in Montana, where Ben owns a chalet.
The duo looked relaxed when Ben was spotted driving them in his SUV with Jennifer sitting close-by in the passenger seat.
"They were alone," a source told E!. "Just the two of them."
The source added: "They have been in touch here and there throughout the years.
"Ben reached out to her to see how she was doing and they had dinner together a few times within this last month. It's natural between them and the chemistry is unreal.
"They picked up where they last left off and are enjoying each other's company right now."
Another source told PEOPLE on Monday: "[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy."
The source later added: "She had a great time with Ben. She is happy with him and enjoys spending time with him.'"
Bennifer were seen disembarking from a private jet together when they arrived back in Los Angeles on Saturday.
They appeared to be holding hands as they got off the plane and got into a car together on the tarmac.
Their reunion came after they both attended the star-studded VAX LIVE concert where Jennifer performed in LA the day before the trip, but partied separately.
Back in April Ben was seen arriving at her home in a car that is said to belong to the Love Don't Cost a Thing singer.
He was later spotted being dropped back to his home by her security.
Around this time the duo had seen each other on three separate occasions, it's claimed.
On one such occasion Ben was reportedly spotted leaving his car at the Hotel Bel-Air and being picked up in Jennifer's vehicle a few hours later.
The not so subtle hints
Fans are convinced that Jen hinted at their reunion when she performed at VAX LIVE.
She performed her song I'm Glad, which is thought to be about her relationship with Ben.
The lyrics include the line: "I found you and I'm bound to find happiness in being around you."
According to fans who submitted to celebrity gossip Instagram Deux Moi, Jennifer hadn't performed this song since her split with Ben as it reminded her too much of their painful breakup.
She also chose to perform the song Sweet Caroline, which has links to Ben's native Boston and is played at sports games in the city.
And who was sat in the audience when she performed these two intriguing songs? Ben, of course.
Ben gushes over Jen
That same month Ben had been full of praise for his famous ex, calling her the "hardest-working person" in Hollywood.
He said: "Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I'm in my 40s… at best?’
Ben went on: "She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I've come across in this business."
He also shared his belief that she should have won an Oscar for her film Hustlers.
The Good Will Hunting actor told The New York Times: "She should have been nominated. She's the real thing.
"I keep in touch periodically with her and have a lot of respect for her. How awesome is it that she had her biggest hit movie at 50? That's f****** baller."
Jen gushes over Ben
In 2014, Jennifer called her split from Ben "my first big heartbreak".
She said the gossip about her love life and the bad reviews of their film Gigi were tough, but she'd "do it all over again… even the relationship part."
Back in 2016, Jennifer seemed saddened that the relationship ended years after their breakup.
She told People Magazine at the time: "I think different time different thing, who knows what could've happened, but there was a genuine love there."
And this year, when Ben praised her youthful looks, Jen said: "Ben is funny! He still looks pretty good too."
