Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have thrown petrol on the fire of speculation that they are back together as a couple after enjoying a trip to a luxury villa together.
The 51-year-old Jenny From The Block singer jetted 48-year-old Ben to Miami where they reunited in JLo’s beach house – just days after they enjoyed a getaway to Montana.
The chart-topping singer and the Oscar winning actor originally dated between 2002 and 2004 – with an engagement being part of their whirlwind, and heavily publicised, 18-month relationship.
Jen subsequently married singer Marc Anthony, with whom she shares two children, before divorcing him in 2014, and more recently enjoyed a four year romance with sportsman Alex Rodriguez.
Ben married fellow actress Jennifer Garner in 2005 and they welcomed three children together before splitting in 2018 – while an on-off romance with Cuban actress Ana de Armas from 2020 to early 2021.
JLo and Ben have tried to quell speculation they have romantically reunited 17 years after they cancelled their original engagement – but recent activities suggest they are back together.
The pair were spotted looking relaxed together at Jennifer’s beachside mansion – with the duo spotted relaxing on a balcony running around the top floor of the property.
Jen could be seen looking fresh and relaxed in a casual, flowing, baby-blue dress.
While Ben was spotted casually puffing on cigarettes while wearing a simple t-shirt and dark green jeans.
The pair looked to be in good spirits, with Jen seen smiling to herself as she soaked up some sunshine, and Ben looking relaxed as he chilled out at his old flame’s pad.
Reports of a reunion between the two began last month when it was reported Ben had been spending time at Jen’s LA mansion and was photographed being ferried to and from the property in one of the singer’s cars.
The dup then embarked on an allegedly romantic getaway to a resort in Montana earlier this month.
While reports have suggested the pair spent more time in Los Angeles.
The pair have kept silent on the speculation they have rekindled their romance, but a spokesperson did declare last month that the former betrothed were “just friends”.
Their reunion began just days after Jennifer broke off her engagement to 45-year-old sportsman ARod.
Jen and Alex had become engaged in March 2019 following two years of dating – but broke things off in April this year.
They declared in a joint statement: “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.
“We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.
“We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.
“Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
