Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are calling it quits — again.
The celebrity couple announced Thursday that their reconciliation attempts have failed and they’re splitting up once and for all.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects,” they said in a statement to Today. “We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.”
The former New York Yankee popped the question to the 51-year-old Bronx singer in March 2019 after two years of dating, but their Instagram-ready relationship had been on the rocks for the past several weeks and they called off their engagement last month.
Rodriguez, 45, chased Lopez down to the Dominican Republic, where she’s filming “Shotgun Wedding,” in an attempt to patch things up but those efforts appear to have been in vain.
