Bathroom trends come and go, but the desire to turn these spaces into oases is one that transcends time. As a space to luxuriate and unwind, bathrooms can and should be outfitted with simple but calming furnishings and accessories for an optimal experience.
We are taking notes from Jennifer Garner's bathroom, which she recently showed off on her Instagram page. There's so much to love in there: the elegant, gray, standalone tub is accented by a lush potted plant, while the ever-popular cafe-style curtains add some texture to her bright windows.
We've been hearing about spathrooms for a while now, and design experts concur that now more than ever, these dreamy, sanctuary-like styles will be taking over.

Gardenia has one of the most powerful and memorable floral scents of all, and August Beauty Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'August Beauty') brings that heady floral scent to your home. 'Creating a ‘personal wellness sanctuary’ is a huge part of this aesthetic – a place to unwind and relax after a long day,' she continues.
'A shower won’t just be a shower, it will have enhanced steaming features, immersive lighting will feature heavily, and I predict an uplift in features like underfloor heating for an extra touch of luxury.'
