Jennifer Garner reunites with 13 Going On 30 co-star Mark Ruffalo on new film set

Jennifer Garner delighted fans as she reunited with her 13 Going On 30 co-star Mark Ruffalo.

Seventeen years on from filming the hit romantic comedy, the pair are working together once more on a new Netflix film, The Adam Project.

Sharing a selfie with Mark to her Instagram account, Jennifer, 48, wrote: "Wishing dust worked! And I got a perfect day with my old pal."

The wishing dust she refers to is a reference to the plot of the beloved 2004 film. In the classic romcom, Jennifer plays the adult version of teen Jenna Rink who is humiliated on her 13th birthday.

The teen wishes she was 30, just as a shower of 'wishing dust' falls on her, causing her to wake the next morning as an adult in a fancy New York apartment.

Ruffalo, 53, plays the adult version of young Jenna's best friend, Matty Flamhaff, who she tracks down - unaware they had lost touch.

Reunited in Canada on their new project, the pair smiled as they leaned in together.

Ruffalo posted the same photo, adding: "Reconnecting with an old pal. Anyone know where we can get Razzles in Canada?"

Razzles were Jenny and Matty's favourite snack in the film, and the pair were seen sharing the candy in the film's final scene.

Fans were delighted to see the stars back together again, including famous friend Juliette Lewis.

The actress commented on Jennifer's post: "Oh my goodness. I love this so much and the two people in it!!!"

In their new project Jennifer and Mark will take on the role of the parents of the lead character Adam, played by Ryan Reynolds.

Zoe Saldana and Catherine Keener also star, along with Walker Scobell as 13-year-old Adam.

Jennifer fans can also see the mum-of-three in another upcoming Netflix film, Yes Day, from March 12.
