Brookside star Jennifer Ellison was forced to visit hospital after an accident where a fish hook got caught in her leg.
Mum-of-three Jennifer shared the very graphic images of her leg with the hook in her thigh to social media.
The 38-year-old thanked the NHS staff who helped her following the incident as she posted on Instagram.

She said: "How NOT to Sea fish!! Caught myself!
"Just want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful NHS staff at Craignure Mull A&E hospital for looking after me so well and getting it out!"
Thankfully Jennifer appears to be fully recovered, but her followers still rushed to send her well wishes.

Before her accident Jennifer appeared to be enjoying a holiday with her three sons and husband Rob.
She shared several photos of herself and her family camping, on a beach and enjoying a boat trip.
Jennifer captioned the snaps: "Having the best time ever! Had to travel 1.5 hrs for phone signal and reception. Back to basics, living off the land and sea, Loving it! Kids having a ball…… All that matters. Over and out see you next week."
