Jennifer Aniston once described Angelina Jolie's handling of her relationship with Brad Pitt as 'inappropriate'.
The 51-year-old Friends actress kept her own thoughts for the most part about her ex Brad hooking up with Ange but in an interview with Vogue in 2008, she let her guard down.
Brad and Jen were Hollywood's golden couple during their five-year marriage between 2000 and 2005 until the now 56-year-old actor met Angelina on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Angelina has said that she fell for Brad almost instantly and Brad didn't seem to need much encouragement to leave Jennifer for a new relationship.
While Brad has maintained he never 'cheated' on Jennifer, it has always rankled with The Morning Show star that he was so cosy in pics with Angelina so soon after he had separated from Jen.
It was how the relationship was portrayed in the media that upset Jennifer when she let it all pour out in the Vogue interview.
What had upset Jennifer the most was an article in the New York Times in which Angelina admitted that she fell in love with Brad while he was still married to Jen.
She bemoaned: "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening.
"I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss.”
Jennifer believed that Angelina shared too many details about their fledgling romance and that it was disrespectful to make it public.
She continued: “That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”
In the article, it confirmed what had upset the actress about Brad and Ange.
It stated: "What really rankled Aniston about the piece was that Jolie felt the need to recount a detailed timeline of exactly how her relationship developed on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
In a 2006 interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer recalled the only time she met Angelina, before she met Brad on set, and her words ended up being quite prophetic.
Jennifer said at the time: “It was on the lot of Friends - I pulled over and introduced myself.
“I said, ‘Brad is so excited about working with you. I hope you guys have a really good time.’”
