Jennifer Aniston reunites with Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow for night out

It’s been over 25 years since Friends arrived on our screens, but Jennifer Aniston is still there for her co-stars.

The actress, 50, reunited with her on-screen pals Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow for a night out and shared a pair of selfies from the gathering on Instagram.

She captioned it with “Hi from the girls across the hall” in a nod to their characters on the hit sitcom, as Rachel (Aniston), Monica (Cox) and Phoebe (Kudrow) all lived in the same apartment “across the hall” from Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) at some point during the series.

Fans of the show and Aniston’s celebrity friends were thrilled to see the famous trio back together, with singer and actress Juliette Lewis writing: “I love these pictures so much. Sigh.”

Actress Rita Wilson wrote: “Love you all!!!” while Derek Blasberg joked that the picture would “tithe [sic] me over the next six months until Friends is streaming again” in a nod to the show’s departure from US Netflix, where it was previously available to stream in full.

Aniston finally joined social media back in October and made her debut on Instagram by sharing a selfie with all five of her Friends co-stars, captioning it with: “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too.”

Guinness World Records confirmed shortly after that she had broken the record for the fastest time to reach one million Instagram followers in five hours and 16 minutes. The record was previously held by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who launched their official @sussexroyal Instagram in April.

In November, a report from The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry and David Schwimmer have been in talks for an “unscripted reunion special.”

Show creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman are also thought to be on board, with the publication suggesting that the project could debut on HBO’s new streaming platform HBO Max.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres last year, Aniston revealed that the cast were hopeful for a reunion but were not sure what form it could take.
