Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow tease they 'don't know anything' about Friends reunion

Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow revealed that the know very little about the upcoming Friends reunion and are expecting some surprises along the way.

The actresses, who starred as Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay in the hit series, reunited via video call for a catch up about their Friends experience.

During their conversation, aired on Variety 's Actors on Actors edition, they reminisced about their favourite throwback moments on set and teased their excitement at what's to come in the HBO reunion.

Earlier this year the cast confirmed they would reunite for a one-off Friends reunion special but filming was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, just last week co-creator Marta Kauffman hinted that filming could finally go ahead in August.

"I think it will be really fun when we finally get out and can do the reunion show," Jennifer told her co-star during their video interview.

Lisa quickly agreed, as they eagerly awaited their reunion.

"I cannot wait. It's also strange to think it would have been shot and already aired and it would be a little speck in our memory," Rachel continued.

The duo went on to suggest that there might be some surprises in the unscripted reunion show when they star alongside cast members   David Schwimmer,   Courteney Cox, Matt Le Blanc, and   Matthew Perry.

"We don't know everything about it," Lisa suggested.

Rachel jumped in: "Oh, we don't know anything about it."

"What we do know, we can't say," Lisa added. "I think we're meant to be surprised by some things."

It has been suggested that the reunion show will come in the form of a panel talk show, so will be very different to the classic series viewers were used to.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast will be paid between $2.5 million and $3 million for their participation in the episode.

Jen also pointed out that the characters and the actors already shared some similarities anyway.

"I will not be Rachel, although I kind of am. Well, we’re all sort of little fragments of them. Not really. But yeah," she said.
