Some of the West End’s leading stars made the most of the warm weather by heading to the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) summer party in Kensington Palace Gardens.

Eddie Redmayne, Jenna Coleman and Sir Lenny Henry were among those who enjoyed the event supporting Sir Sam Mendes and his Theatre Artists Fund.

Sienna Miller and Ambassador Theatre Group boss Mark Cornell hosted the party, which included an auction presented by Lord Dalmeny, chairman of Sotheby’s.

Miller said: “It’s been such a joy to co-host the ATG summer party and to see the generosity of the guests ... I’ve been saddened to see the impact of the pandemic on so many talented workers.”

Also in attendance were Dominic West, Omari Douglas and Fabien Frankel.

The Theatre Artists Fund provides emergency support grants for freelance theatre workers who have been affected by the pandemic.

Proceeds from the auction will go towards the next round of grants, which open tomorrow.
