Jenelle Evans storms off set after Nessa Diab confronts her on anti-Kaepernick posts

Radio and TV personality Nessa Diab and Colin Kaepernick have been dating since 2015. She’s been a vocal supporter of the former 49ers quarterback’s protests against racial injustice.

Diab hosted Monday night’s Teen Mom 2 reunion on MTV, and she went into the program looking to have an open conversation with ex-Teen Mom 2 personality Jenelle Evans.

Evans had recently been fired from the show after her husband, David Eason, shot (and killed) their family dog. Along with that ugly incident, Evans had a history of making inflammatory posts about Kaepernick on social media.

When Diab confronted her about those posts during the show, a defiant Evans stormed off stage.

Diab said about Evans’ anti-Nike/Kaepernick posts:

“This is an open, healthy conversation that I would like to have with you. Please understand something — my man uses his platform to peacefully protest systemic oppression in this country. Specifically, police brutality against black people. Men, women and children are dying — wrongfully dying. And people who are doing this are not being held accountable. That is the issue. It has nothing to do with military men, military women, OK? Because they fought for our constitution to peacefully protest. All of us. I would have appreciated if you had contacted me. I would’ve been more than happy, Jenelle, to have a healthy conversation.”

Evans responded before running off the set:

“I don’t know anything about your husband (sic). I swear to God. I’m done with this bull(expletive). This is exactly why I didn’t (expletive) come here. This is why. This is about my storyline. And you want to bring up your issues.”

The posts in question, which are still active on Evans’ Facebook, called Kaepernick the “most disrespected guy in the NFL.”

A second post mocked Kaepernick while discussing the unemployment rate.
