The release and declassification of the Jeffrey Epstein files continues. On Tuesday, December 23rd, the Justice Department released more than 29,000 documents related to the billionaire and his ties to pedophilia and sex trafficking… and one might implicate President Donald Trump in a whole new way.
The documents include a letter, apparently written by Epstein, to disgraced former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar. Nassar has his own string of controversies, ultimately pleading guilty to seven counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and being sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison for his conduct in the gymnastics world.
The letter, which was postmarked three days after Epstein’s suicide in 2019, seems to be a goodbye message to Nassar. In the process, it flat-out says that Trump “shares our love of young, nubile girls.”
“Dear L. N.,” the letter begins. “As you know by now, I have taken the ‘short route’ home. Good luck! We shared one thing… our love & caring for young ladies at the hope they’d reach their full potential. Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to ‘grab snatch,’ whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system. Life is unfair. Yours J. Epstein.”
The Justice Department has repeatedly denied the allegations made about Trump in the Epstein files, but admits to releasing the documents “out of our commitment to the law and transparency.” While plenty of documents in this new batch of files are heavily redacted, the potential validity of this letter could be a game-changer, in terms of context for Trump and Epstein’s relationship.
According to government documents, this letter from Epstein to Nassar was submitted for a handwriting analysis in July 2020. The results of this test have not been made public.
