Jeff Lynne's ELO set to play two massive shows in Dublin and Belfast in 2020

Jeff Lynne's ELO have today announced they will play two massive Irish shows this year.

The 'Mr Blue Sky' hitmakers will play shows in Belfast and Dublin as part of their autumn 2020 European tour.

The band will take to the stage at the SSE Arena in Belfast on October 18, followed by another show in Dublin's 3 Arena the next day on October, 19.

Tickets starting from €89.50 including booking fees will go on sale Friday 31, January at 9am via Ticketmaster.

Lynne's career spanning decade has seen him go beyond ELO, working with other legendary musicians most notably as a member of the Traveling Wilburys alongside George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty.

Other ELO hits include the likes of 'Telephone Line' and 'Don't Bring Me Down'.

Lynne also produced George Harrison’s Cloud Nine album and with Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr crafted full songs from John Lennon’s home tapes of “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love.”

The tour announcement comes following the release of ELO's most recent album ‘From Out of Nowhere’ which shot to number one in the UK.
