Jeff Goldblum says that the cast of Jurassic World: Dominionhave been given “109 pages” of safety rules to read ahead of filming resuming.
The actor, who starred in the original Jurassic Park movie in 1993, told Entertainment Tonightthat the cast were heading to the UK, “where there are protocols galore”, over the next couple of weeks, adding: "We're going to be very safe, I think.”
He continued: “They gave us 109 pages. They invested all their heart and soul, and a lot of money, into making sure that we're safe. I won't bore you with the details, but we're all going to be quarantined in a kind of a bubble, all the crew and all the cast. And testing and everything."
Goldblum also confirmed that he would be reuniting with original cast members Sam Neill and Laura Dern for the third instalment in the new series, saying: “We know it's a risky time, but we feel it's good.”
Filming on Jurassic World: Dominion initially began in February, but had to be halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While visitors from the US are supposed to quarantine for two weeks before entering the UK, it was announced earlier this month that this would not be enforced for the cast and crews of Hollywood blockbusters travelling to the country for work.
The exemption was granted following a discussion between UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden and actor Tom Cruise, who is due to film Mission: Impossible 7 in the UK in the coming months.
