When Jeet Gannguli and Jubin Nautiyal team up you can expect pure magic. It’s no exception this time as well. And when superstar Jeet, too, joins the team it's a fun-filled joyride. The soul-soothing song ‘Tor Bhul Bhangabo Ki Kore Bol’ from Jeet and Mimi Chakraborty’s upcoming film ‘Baazi’ is out now and the melodious track instantly tugs at our heartstrings.
Be it the words, the composition, or the cinematography; the song tempts you to lose yourself in the magical world of love and let time standstill. The programming, mix and mastering done by Aditya Dev are also praiseworthy. The overwhelming response ‘Tor Bhul Bhangabo Ki Kore Bol’ is receiving since its release, has made Jeet Gannguli super excited.
When we reached out to the ace composer, Jeet Gannguli shared with ETimes the story behind this special song’s inception. “See, there are so many songs between us – the two Jeets, since 2004. There are so many hits and we have a long history. People have loved all the songs. When creating ‘Tor Bhul Bhangabo Ki Kore Bol’ I didn’t have anything special in mind. It’s all about the connection which works wonder. When we sit to create something there’s always a chemistry, a positive energy. It is maybe God’s blessings or the love we have received over the years. So all this love inspires us to make something special, something good. I am so happy to see the amazing response this song is receiving. I should thank the producers also for giving us the chance to make this song. Pranjal did a great job with the touching lyrics as well,” said the composer who has given us so many hit compositions over the years.
He is also all praise for singer Jubin Nautiyal. “I have to mention Jubin’s name. He had to work so hard to dub the song and send it to me, especially in this situation. We planned to record the song at a studio but as it was closed due to the pandemic I had no clue how I will get the song ready for the shoot. But thanks to Jubin we were able to do it. He was at his hometown in Uttarakhand at that time and we did the dubbing on video call for three days. I must thank
him for putting in so much hard work and dedication. Even, Jeet and Mimi also had so many difficulties while shooting the song sequence in foreign location during the COVID crisis. It was next to impossible. Today I am so happy to see the chemistry between me and Jeet has worked well again and people have loved the song,” added Jeet.
Meanwhile, ‘Baazi’, directed by Anshuman Pratyush, is finally releasing in theatres this Durga Puja.
