Netflix has released the first teaser trailer of its brand new three-part documentary about Kanye West.
The three-part "global event" titled jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy will take place over three weeks on the streaming platform featuring footage filmed over the last two decades.
The teaser trailer shows the early days of Kanye, now legally known as Ye, contrasted against clips of him on stage today.

The Netflix synopsis for jeen-yuhs reads: “The lives of an emerging superstar and a filmmaker intertwine in this intense, intimate docuseries charting Kanye West's career, filmed over two decades.”
jeen-yuhs has been directed by Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah, who are both long-time friends and collaborators of the artist.
It is set to be an "intimate and revealing portrait" of his experience from trying to break through as an artist to becoming a global brand.

So far the teaser trailer for jeen-yuhs has revealed rare footage of West’s humble beginnings against more modern scenes of him performing.
The film has been 21 years in the making, showing never-before-seen clips of the rapper, now 44, working on his debut album College Dropout.
In the trailer we also see moments such as West having his jaw wired shut - something which inspired the song, Through The Wire.
The young rapper can be seen in the trailer laughing and dancing with his beloved mum Donda before her death in 2007.
Old clips also show West in the studio with Pharrell Williams, and the trailer ends with a recent clip of him at the microphone.

jeen-yuhs will stream on Netflix as a ‘once in a lifetime three-week global event’.
The first film will go live on February 16 and the trailer can be watched on the streaming service and its social media channels now.
