Jedward reveal they 'serenaded' Hollywood star Amy Adams whilst she was filming a movie in Ireland

Jedward revealed they “serenaded” Hollywood star Amy Adams during her past trip to Ireland to film Leap Year.

The actress starred in the 2010 film Leap Year, which was filmed in and around the Aran Islands, Connemara, Temple Bar, Georgian Dublin, Wicklow National Park, and Olaf Street in Waterford.

The pop duo, made up of brothers John and Edward Grimes, said: “A Cool story, we sang for Amy when she was filming Leap Year in Dublin back in 2008.

“She was in her robe outside her trailer loving life. Two Irish twins John and Edward serenaded her and had the laughs and chats.”

Their trip down memory lane comes as Adams revealed she is back in Ireland again, as she and her Enchanted co-star Patrick Dempsey are set to film the sequel.

Six-time Oscar nominee Adams said she’s ‘very excited’ as she confirmed she had officially touched back down on Irish soil yesterday.

She and her co-star are now set to begin filming on the highly anticipated sequel, ‘Disenchanted’ on location around Ireland.

As locals have been pictured setting up in Enniskerry for their arrival, the red headed beauty confirmed she had arrived safely in an Instagram post.

She said: “I am in Ireland, where I’m getting ready to start filming on the sequel to Enchanted, which I am very excited about.”

She went on: “But more on that later,” as she spoke on Foster Care Awareness month on her Instagram.

Fans got a glimpse of her new humble abode as she filmed the video from a kitchen, which she has made her new home in Ireland with flowers and a candle lit on the dining table in her background.

Irish singing twins Jedward lead the céad míle fáilte in her comments saying: “Welcome back, love from Jedward.”
