Jedward have hit out at Simon Cowell amid a lengthy attack on The X Factor.
The twin musicians – real names John and Edward Grimes – spoke out against the ITV reality competition in a series of posts shared last night (5 April).
On their joint Twitter account, they wrote: “The biggest regret in life was not telling the judges on X Factor to f*** off.”
In a follow-up post, the singers criticised judge Cowell specifically, writing that “he’s nothing but a bad facelift”.
The duo went on to condemn the music industry in general, saying that it is “corrupt” and that “nobody cares about the artist’s mental health”.

Elsewhere, they voiced their support for fellow formerX Factor stars One Direction and Little Mix who they claimed are “legally f***ed in contracts”.
Jedward also claimed to be in possession of One Direction’s contract due to a mix-up by the band’s label.
“Legally posting contracts online is gonna end up in court but we’ve known for many years the situation! Niall! Liam! Louis! Zayn! Harry! You’re survivors,” they wrote.
Jedward have received widespread attention for their social media posts from fans, with some tweets receiving nearly 60,000 likes.
The Independent has contacted ITV and a representative of Cowell’s for comment.
