The news of losing Alex Trebek to stage 4 pancreatic cancer hit a lot of people hard. He’s been a staple in homes across the country for decades now.
Fans of Jeopardy from all over took to the internet to mourn the loss and remember his best moments as the host of Jeopardy. And none of that was lost on his family.
His wife, Jean Trebek, posted a heartwarming thank you message to fans on Instagram along with a picture of the two on their wedding day. The couple had been married for 30 years and had two children together.
Jean Trebek said the messages from fans “truly touched our hearts.”
“My family and I sincerely thank you all for your compassionate messages and generosity. Your expressions have truly touched our hearts. Thank you so very, very much. Many blessings to all.”
