Jean-Philippe Gbamin has been pictured back in training for the first time since May as the Everton midfielder continues to step up his return from long-term Achilles injury.
In the latest images from Finch Farm, the Blues confirmed that the 25-year-old is doing individual ball work as part of the next phase of his recovery.
The pictures show the Ivory Coast international working with the club's director of medical Dan Donachie while the rest of the squad prepared for this weekend's clash with Man City at Goodison Park.
At the end of May, Gbamin picked up an Achilles tendon injury in training as he was working towards potentially being available for the return from lockdown in June.
The midfielder signed for Everton in the summer of 2019 from Mainz, but made just two appearances before sustaining a thigh problem which eventually required surgery.
However, after two long-term injuries, it looks as if Gbamin is slowly making his way back to full fitness.
