Jealous Joanna confronts Michael AND Amber about their failed Love Island romance

Love Island 's Joanna Chimonides is not convinced by Michael Griffiths claims he is over his ex Amber Gill.

The jealous newbie, who was picked by Michael in the recoupling after Casa Amor, demands the truth from the pair in a sensationally awkward showdown.

Joanna is desperate to know where she stands so asks them both individually about their feelings for each other but for her some things don't quite add up.

Molly-Mae had already filled Joanna in on Amber and Michael’s chat the day prior and how Michael perhaps didn't completely call things off with Amber.

She reckons that Michael may still have feelings for Amber and asks Michael the blunt question: “Do you still have feelings for her?”

Michael reassures Joanna and says: “No. Not like that. As a friend, yes I do because I don't want to see her hurt.”

Michael continues: “I don’t even speak to the girl. I walk past and ask if she is alright.”

Amber chats with the other girls on the swing seat and explains that Michael did not make it clear that he only had eyes for Joanna.

But Michael feels like Amber has misinterpreted their conversation.

The next evening, Joanna is keen to confront both Amber and Michael so they’re all on the same page, she gathers them both together to see who is lying and who is telling the truth.

But it remains to be seen whether Michael will decide to carry on getting to know Joanna or go back to Amber.

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
