Gaming Factory has released JDM: Japanese Drift Master patch 1.7.0 today, alongside a 30% discount as part of the Steam Autumn Sale.
This update brings a mix of new content, technical improvements and fan-requested features. Players can get behind the wheel of the newly added Nissan GTR R35 EBA, which comes with six unlockable body kits, while customization expands with the ability to modify wheels and rims. Story content also grows with a new side campaign focused on Naoto “Tiger” Date, one of the game’s key rivals, spanning nine events and 11 new races.
Two new tracks have also been introduced: Hakome Stadium, a sports arena turned high-octane circuit, and Takekaze Tōge, a twisting route set against volcanic terrain and bamboo forests. On the technical side, the update integrates XeSS 2.1.1.1 with frame generation and low latency support for Intel and AMD GPUs, while Nvidia RTX 5000 series owners gain access to Multi Frame Generation options. Performance has been improved across the open world, with faster load times, physics tweaks, better collision handling and fixes for AWD and FWD behavior. Steam Deck and other handheld devices also benefit from optimized performance and dedicated graphical presets.
Additional touches include weather indicators for underground races, rebalanced rain events and the removal of loading screens for certain menus. The patch comes with a host of bug fixes and smaller quality-of-life updates, so make sure to check out the full patch notes on the official Steam page.
