Gaming Factory has released JDM: Japanese Drift Master patch 1.60 on Steam, bringing the new Physics 2.0 update and addressing key areas players have been requesting for since the game launched in late May.
Car handling has been fine-tuned across both Arcade and Simcade physics and driving with a steering wheel now feels much more responsive. Force Feedback has been reworked with expanded settings and better calibration options. Updates to gravity, braking, suspension, and tire grip help deliver a more grounded and satisfying driving experience.
The update adds the Honda NSX NA1 to the roster, complete with three widebody kits available in the tuning shop—Phantom Veil, L3GENN and Griptide. It also brings in a new multi-story garage location, which serves as the backdrop for a new Underground Side mission.
Cars now behave more naturally in the air and during collisions, with updates to gravity, grip, and braking helping everything feel more grounded. Auto flip physics have been improved, and cinematic cameras now trigger on big jumps. These changes are just the start, with more detailed collision systems and expanded wheel presets planned later this summer.
AI has also been improved across the board. Traffic cars are more aware of the player’s position and speed, making for smarter lane changes on highways and less congestion on tight mountain roads. Opponents now drive more intelligently too, choosing better racing lines and reacting more realistically to nearby cars.
