JDM: Japanese Drift Master is available on PlayStation 5 for $34.99 ($26.24 with PS Plus), with an optional “Made in USA” add-on priced at $5.99 ($5.39 with PS Plus) that brings six extra non-licensed cars inspired by classic American muscle.
The PS5 edition includes all of the free updates previously released on PC and Xbox, including additional side story content, Photo Mode, Landmarks activity, more vehicles and radio stations, plus a wide range of fixes and gameplay tweaks. Online leaderboards are scheduled to arrive shortly after launch.
Support is set to continue across all platforms, with the team currently focused on two major additions. Multiplayer is in the works, giving drivers the chance to hit the roads of Guntama together. An expanded Paint Shop feature is also planned, allowing custom liveries to be created and applied to cars. Both are targeting a Q2 2026 release window.
Steering wheels will not be compatible at launch. Limited support for select Logitech and Thrustmaster models are planned with specifics to be shared once they are finalized. Smaller updates and another DLC are also in development with more information coming at a later date.
